SZÉCHENYI THERMAL BATHS
This is one of the largest bath complexes in Europe, and the very first in Pest. The waters of the deepest and warmest spring in the capital are 74-75 °C. The hot-spring waters contain sodium, calcium, magnesium, sulphates and hydro-carbonates, and also have significant amounts of fluoride and metaboric acid. The water of the drinking fountain has medicinal properties, containing calcium, magnesium, chloride and sulphates, as well as alkalis and a substantial amount of fluoride.
